Utilizing our years of experience in the tile and stone industry, Milestone, Inc. now imports containers directly from a growing number of worldwide suppliers.  We are currently focusing on materials from China, India, Mexico, Turkey, Brazil, Finland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Our close association with quarries and fabricators in the United States and around the world allows us to offer and stock a variety of stone in assorted standard dimensions, as well as custom sizes and cuts.  We serve the most discerning customers for commercial, hospitality and residential applications.

We occupy facilities that include a showroom, offices, warehouse, storage space and stone yard.  We maintain a staff of 14 full-time employees with a focus on product knowledge and customer service.  We offer local delivery along with an ability to coordinate transportation anywhere.  Our expanding client list now includes over 2000 people and businesses.

Miles Chaffee, President of Milestone, Inc.,  has been involved in the tile and stone business for 12 years.  Miles attended the University of New Mexico with an emphasis on Business and History.  An entrepreneur by nature, Miles has been involved in several new businesses in New Mexico prior to starting in the stone business in 1991.  His experience includes the construction industry and a strong sales background, along with a love of stone.  He worked with several of the top stone distributors in the region prior to starting Milestone, Inc.

We are  diligent about keeping personal relationships with suppliers around the country by visiting warehouses and manufacturing plants as often as possible.  We have traveled throughout the United States, Europe and Mexico to visit directly with sources and tour their quarries.

We are a member of the Homebuilders Association of New Mexico, the Remodelers Council of Northern New Mexico, the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association, The Building Stone Institute and the Marble Institute of America.  We are Associate Members of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), (AIA) and The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
